If you have a friend or colleague who you think would benefit from BCS membership you can use our 'Membership Recommendation' route in the Member Secure Area. We will then invite your contact to join BCS at the appropriate grade.

If you are a Chartered member or you represent a Branch or BCS Specialist Group Committee you can nominate your contacts for BCS Professional membership (MBCS) using our 'Trusted Source' route. 

We will accept your nominees directly into membership provided that you are able to attest to their suitability for BCS membership and state that they have 5 or more year's relevant IT work experience. 

Your nominee will benefit from a streamlined application process. To make a nomination simply log on to the Member Secure Area and follow the link to Membership Nominations.

Membership in the IAI becomes effective after review and acceptance of the application by the IAI Admission Committee.

The yearly membership fee amounts to € 450. Please do not include payment with your application. An invoice will be sent to you upon completion of the admission process.
